There are so many diff brands appearing all over the internet. Has anyone tried, and do they work? If anyone has actually had any success would you mind sharing the brand you bought? Thank you

Well I think I’ve got my answer! I thought they must be selling like hot cakes as I keep seeing adverts everywhere for these things but it’s seems no one here has one. Maybe I’ll save my money

I've been wondering this too. Is anyone buying these things?

OP I bought the NuFace a few years ago, not sure if it's exactly the same thing you are talking about, I couldn't figure out from the picture you posted what that device actually was. The NuFace is an electro current device that is supposed to 'lift' and sculpt the face. In reality it did very little.

Quite honestly most of these things are snake oil, they have very little actual research behind them and the results they would give would be minimal. I believe they are supposed to cause an electrical current in the muscle or something which is supposed to lift and tighten, sort of toning the muscles of your face - but there is no evidence of long term effectiveness. I think people who use it daily (I couldn't be bothered) say there is a temporary lifting effect. I think this would only really work if you have very mild sagging, anything more and it won't do much - plus what about excess skin, it's not going to disappear is it?

I stopped using mine after a while as it was a huge faff and I saw very little change, sometimes you will see people rave about them but I'm quite sceptical and think you are only going to get a very small improvement if any.

I also had Ultherapy in a clinic a few years ago, and again didn't see that much change - and it was expensive! I've come to the conclusion that if you have sagging, that no cream or device is going to make a noticeable difference, only surgery.

I bought the ziip halo after being convinced by the Sali Hughes Instagram video where she says she's not being paid and it's an honest review....possibly all bullshit and I'm not sure I can see any difference yet, but it's relaxing

SparrowFeet · 08/12/2024 12:46

I have a Foreo bear and the difference isn't that noticeable if at all, but if feels like I'm doing something and no harm in it. However It was a gift and I probably wouldn't recommend spending your own money on one unless you have loads spare and just would like the ritual.

HornyHornersPinkyWinky · 08/12/2024 12:52

I think there's probably a bit of a placebo effect happening, where you want it to make a difference, and you're kind of squinting to see if there is really a difference, and then you convince yourself that there is a bit of a difference... That's what happened with me anyway, and eventually I gave up (having to put on the gel and wash it off again after every use was a faff also).

In my opinion these things are probably good for maintenance, but if you have significant sagging it's really not going to make a difference.

Thanks for the replies. I think I’ll save my money and not bother with one then !

LED face masks seem to have better results. I always feel refreshed after using mine, and reviews are good, but you must be consistent with using it.
