Nordic socks recommendations please!

I used to have a single pair of Nordic wool socks. I wore them until they fell apart. They were the softest, warmest things ever. I would hunt through the laundry basket to find them to make sure they got washed first, and they were always the pair I'd choose in the morning if they were clean.

I want some more but I cannot remember the brand. I don't think it was the "Nordic Socks" company that's the first hit on google. They might have been Joya?

Can anyone recommend a good place to get them from? They must be soft wool, not the scratchy kind that looks lovely from afar but are like wearing a pair of hedgehogs.

Joya and Nordic socks both tick your boxes, I have both. So pick the one with the nicest pattern you like.
Both have thinner and thicker styles so watch out for that.
Near me is the interesting independent gift/clothes shops that would sell these, so if you don't have that handy hop online.

You can find the exact same socks from the ‘Nordic Socks’ website on Ali Express for a fraction of the price. I’m pretty certain they’re not wool.
Have a look at Lotta from Stockholm - good customer service and the socks they sell are actually wool and actually Nordic.

apologies, I just checked the Nordic Socks website and it seems they do some wool now. I’d still be skeptical though, it doesn’t say the materials on Ali Express but they look the same

Soooooooo many crappy fakes , there was a thread on them within the last week or so with a link to a good suppliers ( tho not everyone agreed as per Mumsnet!)
