What to wear with this skirt (hush Simone slinky) for a Christmas lunch/party?

I’ve recently bought this skirt with a view to wearing it to my office Christmas party, but nothing I’ve tried with it is quite right.

Hush skirt

i really like the skirt, it’s a bit different for me but it’s flattering on, and I’ve got a few different shoe options, I just can’t find the right top. In my head I want a lightweight slightly slouchy knit, in black with a touch of gold toned metallic shimmer, but i just can’t find anything. The wrong fit, too itchy, more of a silver sparkle… For regular day wear I’d wear it with a chunky black jumper and boots, but the Christmas party needs something a little dressier.

completely open to all suggestions, so I thought I’d throw it out to MN to see if any of you could suggest something I haven’t thought of. 🙏🏻

Thanks again everyone. I ended up with a sort of silky black shirt from mango. Bargainous. Another actual silk shirt in JL didn’t fit me so well or I’d have spent ££££ (I might watch out for one in the sales though). The mango one goes well with the skirt, the fit annd drape is just right and goes well with some news boots I have that need an outing.

I tried the vest in Reiss, but it was a little too charcoal rather than black black for the skirt. Loved the cardigan from M&S and I actually have a gold vest from Reiss that might work well with it, but didn’t have time to get to M&S today and I’m running out of time for online orders (otherwise I might have ordered the other black silk vest that was suggested).
