Decent quality every day leggings

Bella1905 · 03/12/2024 22:42

Hi there, I'm sure this post has probably been done a lot but I'm looking for decent quality thick leggings that I can wear on school runs etc and just for every day rather than Lycra leggings. Ideally high wasted. What brand would others recommend please? Thanks

Next Ponte leggings, I live in them

Love all winter high waisted

Llama leisure are worth a look. Their sizing is unusual, 8-14 or 14-20. If you are at the lower end of the size range, they will be thicker and roomier but still close fitting. Presumably if you're at the top end they'll be stretched snug - I'm a 14 and got 14-20 because I don't like 'stretched snug'! They have amazing patterns and are high waisted.

I have a lot of mint velvet leggings as I wear a pair everyday under dresses for work as need the warmth.

The Lovall winter ones are brilliant. I've been wearing them under knitted dresses most days and they're very warm and cosy.

I second the Lovall winter leggings. Thick and warm with a nice waistband

I recently got some thick leggings from M&S. I adore them! Heatgen maximum thermal leggings they're called. So soft, high waisted and fleecy. They wash brilliantly too, no shrinkage.

Thanks all. They all sound fab!
