If I like these perfumes...

...what new perfumes should I buy samples of to try? I fancy something new, and I very, very rarely have the chance to have a mooch around a department store, so it's all about buying tiny samples.

My current fragrance rotation:

Endymion from Penhaligon - love the coffee, sage and vanilla. I also used to like Malabah.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle - my first ever favourite
Mugler Angel and Angel Muse - Muse is probably my closest to a signature scent
Glossier You - I've heard it described as a "sexy clean skin" scent and I like it for low key days.

So apparently I like warm spicy foody and vanilla-y stuff, I guess? Very open to men's and unisex scents and prepared to pay for quality... within reason.

Go on the Miller Harris website and order some samples from there. They are amazing fragrances and they have really comprehensive notes on what makes up each sense. My favourite is currently Black Datura - every time I wear it I get complimented on it, it's just gorgeous.

Thanks, will check it out!

I find it so hard to know what I'll like from the notes. I know I'm not much into florals, and spices, vanilla and citrus are big themes in things I like.

Bump for the morning crowd.

Diptyque Eau Duelle is a vanilla perfume, although not too sweet.

You might enjoy Jo Malone's myrrh and tonka. It's quite warm and resinous and has a sweet vanilla from the tonka bean. It does have lavender as a top note but that is rather fleeting.

Glossier you Doux is a more evening version of the original
