Hair change

Could anyone give me any advice please so I’ve had white blonde platinum hair for about 8 years now and need a change my hairs ruined from the years of bleaching and haven’t got the energy anymore for the upkeep of having to get my roots done all the time I still want to keep it light blonde just with less upkeep my natural hair is very dark brown so it doesn’t look nice when my roots are growing in dark with the contrast of the white platinum so I’m wanting something like this but unsure what to ask for could anyone help? Thank you

(I am not really the right person to answer, because I have never coloured/bleached my hair, but I thought by answering I could help bring up your post a little.)

Perhaps it's Ombré you should ask for? Where the colour of the hair has a gradual change from the top down, darker to lighter? (I think).
Or a Balayage, where it's all more blended.
I hope someone else will be along that knows more about this, and they can give you some good advice!

Would you consider a medium blonde colour instead of a light blonde? There are many lovely shades of medium blonde/dark blonde, and it might be less of a contrast to your natural dark brown hair.
