Can I ask for help finding some burgundy boots.

I'd love to get my hands on some burgundy/ oxblood knee high leather boots. I've hunted Vinted and online but not found the right ones.

I've ordered the kitten heel ones from Zara but they are such an odd shape.

Kate was in the news today and hers look spot on but I'm thinking they will be very pricy.

I have muscular. Calves so need softer leather style.

Any tips where to look? I have meeting next Tuesday and great work dress from bauken in my mind that will work well.

I don't usually buy stuff here but I did buy a pair of boots a few weeks ago and they are lovely, everyone comments on them but I say I forgot where they are from..... <runs and hides before being flamed>

Another vote for Duo of Bath. They have lots in burgundy plus a big range of calf fittings. Not cheap but great quality.

@Coldandunderablanket I've never bought from there.. but have heard a few mutters around these parts.

In my head I want to wear the boots for a few meetings next week, so may have to stay local.

Have you tried BrandAlley?

@AnSionnachGlic those are the ones, they are so nice.

The problem with the kitten heel ones is that the heel will get ruined really quickly too if you do any walking in them.

creamsnugjumper · 03/12/2024 21:27

@Notcontent I think for me I'd only buy the cheaper end kitten heels. They don't look very comfy, but for an evening out, or work meeting they may work. Agree 100% the Zara ones I'm returning are pretty flimsy and uncomfortable.

I love those ones from Dune London. I have mid-calf burgundy boots from ages ago but they are an awkward height for skirts or dresses. I never know to match tights to boots or skirt.

New look.. let's give those a go at that price worth a try, I'll keep looking. I'm loving some of the pricy ones.

Glad to be of service!

I've asked for the M&S ones for Christmas. They are gorgeous in real life, too!

Just sold some burgundy heeled Office ones on Vinted a few months ago. They were lovely but I have awkward feet.
