Laser hair removal

I am looking to get professional permanent laser hair removal.

Just wondering what people's experiences with it has been who have had it done?

How many sessions did you need?
Did it work?
Did the hair come back years down the line?

I had it done years ago. I had to have a lot more sessions than I'd bargained for, but I had managed to get a price that was for as many sessions as needed as it was fairly new at the time - I doubt you'll get that deal now.
Legs worked very well. Bikini line also, just a few hairs popped up post-menopause (they were weak and seemed to disappear when plucked.)
Underarms thinned out a lot but never actually went. I was having them done every couple of months for a number of years! Salon closed in the end (I'm sure it wasn't my fault 😀).
But generally even where it worked well it wasn't a quick fix for me at least. Having said that the lasers might have improved by now (this was well over 20 years ago).

I've had 2 of 8 sessions. Under arms and legs are still bare. Bikini is a work in progress

I recommend going to Klynik in London, they have the newest laser and very reasonably priced. Don't even bother with diode/alexandrite laser. too many sessions needed

Consider a lumea or similar as well. For me (dark hairs... Light ish skin) it was life changing (i can go swim... Wear dresses etc without a thought in the world)

I had legs, bikini line and underarms done in 2005, I think. I have maybe 6 hairs come through on each leg and next to nothing anywhere else. I have very dark hair and pale skin and was a perfect candidate.

pregnancy didn’t make any difference and not seeing any changes at 47 (peri-menopause and menopause-wise).

Laser hair removal can't guarantee permanent results unfortunately - if this is a concern is there a reason you're not considering electrolysis?

I had 12 sessions on my legs seven years ago, gave 90% reduction and still the same now. The other 10% grows really slowly, so only need to shave once a month
