How to stop the "Clip Clop" of noisy shoes on a hard floor?

I work in a large echoey room with hard floor.

I want to look stylish at work, but don't want to disturb others in my office with noisy heels (not necessarily high heels, but boots, brogues e.t.c many of my shoes are hard soled and noisy)

Are there any hacks? (I tried cellotape, but it didn't seem to help at all)

Brilliant thank you!

You're welcome - they really do work. I have worked in events for years and need to be the person tip-toeing around at the back sometimes and with these I have been as quiet as a mouse! They're not uncomfortable either - you honestly can't really feel them at all.
