Docs with frocks

If you wear Docs with a party dress, what do you wear on your legs?

I was thinking sheer black tights, but what about feet? Docs would rip the tights to shreds, as well as ripping my feet to shreds without socks.

DM boots? I wear ankle socks over the tights that come below the top of the boots

Quarter socks that finish below the top of the boot.

I swear frilly doc socks that have a gap in the back for the tag

I also wear socks over tights under docs

Socks & tights , I have some good quality black leg warmers that I sometimes add either tucked into boots (look like socks) or over the boots

Which dms do you have that they tear up your tights, are they the hard leather with the sewn ridge at the top?

They are new Pascals, not yet fully broken-in.

Are the frilly doc socks different to other frilly socks? Not sure I can get the genuine article in time for the party, but I could get something generic off Amazon.

I buy kids frilly socks, black school ones (supermarkets/b&m) I just get that biggest size (im ab adult size six) never had any issues
