Grenson Nanette boots

Does anybody have these boots? Nanette boots Any thoughts? Do they feel heavy like hiking boots or can you wear them to the office for example? Also any advice on sizing?

I'm toying with getting a pair but it will be on Vinted as I can't afford new 😆. I do already have a pair of Grenson sandals (also bought from Vinted) and they're great fit and quality which is why I'm now looking at the boots too.

Also if anybody has suggestions of cheaper dupes of the Nanette I'd be grateful for thoughts.

I have some. They aren’t heavy and they don’t feel like hiking boots on imo
Great boots- really comfortable. I bought for fashion but kept for walking. They’ve been lots of places, walked many many miles still look great.

I also have a pair!

Very comfortable and light but as the leather is really quite rigid, needed a little breaking in. I wouldn’t walk miles in them on the first wear!

I’d also say true to size.

Keep an eye on Flannels website too - I got mine there half price, couple of Christmases ago.

I have a pair and they are a little narrow so only ok with a thin woollen sock on me. Tried the Bridget from the sale in rubberised leather as they are the same last as Nanette and got a half size larger. But sent them back sadly as very hard leather and high on the ankle to cut in

I have a pair and love them, though I mostly wear them as casual boots and stick to the Alt-Bergs for proper hiking.
