Low key partywear?

What are people wearing for non out out events? We have a few house parties, a couple I’m hosting a couple to attend over Christmas and I’m not sure what to wear? Don’t want to go ott, but also don’t want to be in jeans.. in navy which I love and bought years ago, wear with some nice jewellery. But I went out last weekend looking for something else with a similar vibe and couldn’t find anything.

I got a dress similar to that from Apache, they do a few styles.
Could you wear a sequin or satin skirt with a plain bat wing jumper?
Or a sequin t shirt with leather joggers?

I'll definitely wear the one in the original post - but don't want to wear the same thing to all the events.. maybe I'll go jewllery shopping instead and wear different bling!
