Trainers under £100

What trainers would you recommend? I’m a mum of two so need to be able to slip them
on and off fairly easily at soft play/playgroups etc whilst holding the baby and chasing a toddler! This rules out my previous converse- too much lacing. I have feet bordering on wide so narrow won’t work. I’m not a fan of a really thick clumpy sole either. Comfortable but hopefully colourful or pretty.

Nike have 25% off site wide at the minute. You can't go wrong with Jordan 1s, air force ones or dunks. You can't also design your own with some good colours.

I wouldn't advise Jordan's or dunks if you're over 25, they're awful!
Sketchers have a lot of slips ons. I would just go to a local sports direct and see what you fancy.

Oh shit!

But sketchers are for over 85s. Looks like you'll have to find something in the middle OP 😂

I don't particularly like sketchers either! But they have some newer ones which don't look too bad.
I was going for the slip on and under £100.
I'm no expert either though!

Reebok classic c85. Slightly wider than Adidas Gazelle etc and understated cool.

ExceededUsefulEconomicLife · 26/11/2024 22:50

All my trainers are slip on because of how I do the laces. Eternally lazy with youthful feet 😉

ExceededUsefulEconomicLife · 26/11/2024 22:53

Although! If you want slip on, you could go for... crocs! 😂😂😂 some crocodillios would be perfect.

Nah, young people wear Sketchers now

I have these https://www.newbalance.co.uk/pd/574/WL574XD2-B-08.html?cqsrc=googleeads&cqcmp=16737608117&cqqcon=&cqterm=&cqqmed=pla&cqplac=&cqqnet=x&cqpos=&cqqplt=gp&gadsource=1&gbraid=0AAAAADgFtFlmCdRRU51c0Skn6g7v3bN2S&gclid=Cj0KCQiAgJa6BhCOARIsAMiL7V8pF47d6oLjmxzx8oL40JfH2qqznx3eO7xx-6bIm7BZImM-gGYHQ6waAo6WEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

New Balance 574's, honestly they are the comfiest trainers I've ever owned! I just tuck the laces inside and slip them on and off. My feet are quite wide and I have no issues x

Ha ha say Nikes are horrible but advocates Sketchers!

Asics GEL-KAYANO. The cushioning series of sports shoes is really good

AluckyEllie · 27/11/2024 23:26

Thanks all! The new balance ones and reebok are my favourites so I’m going to do some mooching and finalise my Christmas list. Just to say- they don’t have to be proper slip ons but I find converse impossible to get on and off without doing the laces and it drives me nuts 😂

Same

itsnotmeitsu · 28/11/2024 21:36

I'd recommend Rocket Dog. They have the wider foot bed and some great designs.

polkadotpixie · 28/11/2024 23:51

I love my Vans classic slip ons
