Hi
i had an upper blepharoplasty last week. The pain of the 3 per eye anaesthetic injections was something else. Much more painful than I had anticipated.

its stitches out this week and I’m dreading it! Can anyone else who has had this done tell me if the pain is less for stitches out?

im still having flashbacks about the anaesthetic injections 😖

My stitches were one continuous running stitch from one outer eyelid, across the bridge of my nose and to the other outer eye. They snipped the thread in the middle and then very, very slowly pulled it out from the outer eyelid. It did not hurt at all, felt like someone was touching my skin occasionally so more of a sensation than hurting. I think it depends what they used to stitch the lids too but this was my experience.

The main thing after that do not stretch the lid at all until they are fully healed, follow their follow up care advice. Do not put on makeup because you will have to rub the eyelid to remove it. Don't rush it. Mine have healed beautifully. I had them done last September and am incredibly pleased with the result.

I'd love this, would any of you share photos and give a recommendation of where to get it done? Thank you
