Mosquito bites scars

I got 9 huge mosquito bites this year on holiday. All on my lower leg just above my ankle.

It's now nearly 3 months since I came home and where the bites were is still fairly noticeable. It's almost like they've left a scar. I've never had bites that were that big so haven't dealt with this before.

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting rid of them, or is it just matter of time?

Argh! I hate bloody mosquitos. The bite scars will fade, but they will go quicker if you a) rub bio oil into them every day, and b) protect the area from the sun till they have gone (otherwise they will tan a darker colour and you'll be stuck with them for longer)

No chance of tanning here in Scotland 😂 but am going abroad in March so I'll get on with the bio oil!
