Cabin sized luggage - backpack

Not sure whether this is the right place for what I'm looking for, but hopefully someone can help!

I'm going away for less than a week to the Boston, so it will be a long haul flight, but I want to keep my luggage with me, rather than wait for it on the baggage carousel.

I don't think I will have that much with me, so I'm looking for something that fits the dimensions 56cm ×45cm ×25cm, that isn't a hard suitcase but like a softer version with shoulder straps, if such thing exists?

I've only ever used my hiking bag when I've gone away in the UK, but I'd like something that feels more secure but still easily portable. Hopefully that makes sense!

Thanks in advance.

Cabin Max is quite a good brand for this kind of thing. I bought a great backpack that fits the Ryanair under seat requirements which I use for weekend breaks (Amazon)

Thanks @EmmaStone I shall check them out.

CabinZero are well made and you can chose from under seat sizes or enter airline and choose carry on sizes

I have three Cabin Zeros! The 44l for large cabin baggage, the 36l for easy jet underseat size, and the 28l for the meaner airlines underseat allowance..

The 44l sounds ideal for you for a week. The Cabin zero uses every inch of the allowance, and comes in a good selection of colours.

@saraclara as a self confessed luggage addict, I love those Cabinzero bags! Never seen them before.

@xsquared my favourite cabin bag is my Samsonite Ecodiver cabin bag, it has backpack straps and wheels. I usually use the wheels, but when I’ve been somewhere eg snowy being able to carry it on my back is also helpful. I have been questioned over the size of it, but I’ve just looked the check in staff in the eye and said ‘it is within the allowed dimensions, I am happy to try it in your bag size frame,’ and they have always allowed me though with it.

Thanks for the link @AltitudeCheck and recommendation for Cabin Zero @saraclara . They do seem to have a lot of attractive options.
