Black wellies

I need your help rural Mumsnet.

I love the new black Le Chameau wellies but don’t want to frighten the horses. For context on rural, I’m talking about fairly conservative farming communities rather than commuters walking their dogs.

Would I look silly amongst the sea of green?

I buy my wellies, black or green, from the local feed merchants

Get what you like! (My Le Chameaus are green tho .. I also live rurally and while I don't farm I have an allotment and dog and like that they are comfy to drive in as well as for shifting manure!)

Go for it! Be a style setter rather than follower, lol, and be different.

I’m never different. I love a uniform: green in the country, navy at the coast, black and grey for town 😂

Totally fine, dh has black ones and hasn’t been shunned by other crofters or the sheep yet 😂

In that case @StormingNorman, maybe stick with the green ones. Going for black ones might be too radical for country living, lol. There might be talk in the village..
