Waterproof walking wellies

I am looking for a pair of boots that are supportive and comfortable enough to go on long walks with, waterproof and tall in case of muddy terrain, and with good grip. Do they exist and can I have recommendations?

These are waterproof, comfortable, and have an excellent sole for muddy, rocky slopes. Mine are a few years old and in excellent condition, though I should probably give a little leather conditioning a thought.

That's exactly how I use my Muck Boots.

I have a pair of LeChameau and they fit the bill. I usually get the shorter ones. They're comfortable and supportive for walks of reasonable length.

Sounds like any decent hiking boots would do the job.

Wellies generally aren't supportive as they are flat inside and the flexible rubber bends around the feet rather than supports

Probably doesn't fit in the style and beauty section, but good walking boots with a pair of gaiters is your best bet. Wellies are good at keeping your feet dry, but not that comfy for long walks. Walking boots are a bit more breathable than wellies too so your feet don't get as sweaty.

Thank you all for these great recommendations. Where I walk it can get very muddy, and sometimes my foot might sink entirely, which is why I'm after something welly-like, but with better structure. I'll look at all of these. X
