Any recommendations for a nice handcream for men?

I'm doing a Christmas stocking for my Dad & he likes the occasional "pampering" purchase so am on the hunt for a nice hand cream to include.

Any ideas where to look, or suggestions for which to buy, would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

I got my husband a nice one from Aesop

Kamek · 22/11/2024 20:28

The cedarwood scented one from Gloved might be a nice one for a man

Claris hand cream is unreal.
You could check do they do one in their Mens range.

HippyChickMama · 22/11/2024 20:40

L'Occitane Cade or The English Soap Company do a men's range here: theenglishsoapcompany.com/mens-hand-cream/

Aesop
or Aveda Hand Relief

Thanks very much, I'll do some googling for them.

Back in the day, when men were men, they used Swarfega Grin

😂😂😂

But these days I'd recommend Clarins - the packaging is unisex

Lacura Intensive Hand Cream is a winner here. Great stocking filler.

Another vote for L'Occitane. The shea butter one is really thick and smells neutral

Papyrophile · 23/11/2024 15:16

For a scented version, I like the Noble Isle Whisky and Water soap/handcream duo, and so do DH and DS.

If you go to Lidl, you may be lucky and find a tube of their Occitane shea butter handcream dupe... it looks like L'Occitane, and smells like it, but costs a quarter of the price.

I've seen my dad wash his face with that
When I did a horrified look he went "what? It works"
Yes I'm sure it does, it's probably like a chemical peel

ive read that this is one of the best ones on the market (cannot remember where I read it! but I think the reviews speak for themselves)

This is what I buy for DH. It’s quite rich so you only need a small amount. It has a pleasant vaguely herby smell, not ‘girly’. He thinks it is better than the ‘mens’ one ( though he a slave to the shaving cream.)

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 23/11/2024 15:41

Lidl are doing a dupe for the loccitane one

Saltedcarameltiramisucheesecake · 23/11/2024 15:42

Neals yard. Their men's toiletries are very nice.

Body shop hemp hand cream nice and rich and a good scent.

This is what DH uses , it's not genuine scented and it's amazing. I now also use it and some of the more scented ones, I like to have one in my bag, one in the car, one at work so the smaller ones work for me. DH just has a massive plain shea butter one

ETA you can often find it cheaper elsewhere, very, beauty bay, myorigines, Amazon

Another one for the body shop hemp range, its very good and not too pricey
