Opinions on this coat?

I really like it because it’s long, looks warm and isn’t just plain black/grey/navy. But does it look a bit shiny? I’ve never had H&C stuff as it’s always felt a bit horsey/sporty for me - just not my usual style.

It is expensive so grateful for any thoughts!

It’s a no from me, sorry. Mostly because you can get one a lot lot cheaper but also I just dislike HC in general. I would imagine Superdry have a similar jacket since they’re married!

I'm not keen either. And it's not exactly cheap.

Not a fan. I do love a houndstooth or plaid coat but not in that puffer style, it just looks abit cheap to me (not what you want at those prices!!LOL).

I like it, it's different to the boring black or beige or that awful olive. Winter needs brightening up

I do like that it's a bit different but I always think HC stuff looks nice at first glance then there's something that makes it look tacky. Either the logos or material. I also think their stuff is ££ for what it is.

I like it apart from the blingy logo on the sleeve (which ruins it).

I think you'd get fed up of it very easily. Go for something plain. More stylish.

The logo is really annoying, agree, it’s off putting!

Plain is what I’m trying to avoid - so many plain black, olive, navy puffers around!

It looks cheap.

I personally wouldn't wear it because I like Togo unnoticed but I would admire someone else for wearing it!

The strangest thing happened today, as soon as I’d posted on this thread, I saw a woman wearing the exact same coat. I didn’t think it looked great in the flesh either to be honest

For that price you could get a wool coat which would be my preference.

I like HC clothing, and think that coat is a bit different OP - in a good way. I work in Cheltenham and HC coats/jackets are a very common sight especially in race weeks.

You could…. But that would have a completely different function in my wardrobe. I’ve got several wool coats including a lovely Max Mara so don’t really need another one! After a puffer for warmth.

A bit shiny, just cheap looking really. To me it looked like a coat from shein rather than a £400 coat

Looks just about bearable on Pic 1 but you'd need to be 5 ft 9 or taller (and slim) to carry it off. On Pic 2 it looks hideous. It does not look good fastened. The model looks like a sack of potatoes!

I agree with other posters too that it looks tacky, and cheap/slightly below average quality.

Expensive too. I can think of better ways to spend nearly half a grand! Especially when it looks like it cost £25 from Primark!

I am tall - 5 ft 10 - and size 8 so the long coats tend to work on me (they don’t drown me like they might a petite person). But it won’t be this one! Will keep looking…

I’ve just read the description properly and it says it’s made of faux leather pu, which explains why it looks like plastic.
