Which parlux hairdryer?

Looking to get a Parlux hairdryer for my birthday and not sure which one to ask for (have to be very specific for DH!). Can anyone recommend a particular model?- finding all the different ones a bit confusing.

I’ve got a Parlux hairdryer, not sure which model but it is SO heavy. I prefer my mums Ghd Helios. Sorry if that’s not the answer you’re looking for though!

Welcome to other suggestions- used a ghd dryer when I was on holiday & liked it, will take a look.

I have the Parlux Powerlight 385, which is not as heavy as the larger Parlux driers. I've had it for about 5 years and am very happy with it.

I invested in a Parlux hairdryer 5 years ago. It only lasted about a year before going kaput. I guess I was unlucky. I’ve been using a Cloud Nine Airshot since then and it’s the best hairdryer I’ve ever owned.

I'm another Parlux 385 powerlight user. It's about 10 years old, and definitely the best hairdryer I've ever had.

I also have the power light, it’s about 7-8 years old so there could be a new version. Worth the money.

I've got a Parlux Compact - it's very good! I've had it for about five years and use it pretty regularly - it's not broken yet, although the back filter cover thing does have a regrettable habit of falling off easily. It's a powerful dryer and probably the best I've ever had, although pre-Parlux I was always a Babyliss girl, so I don't know if I'm comparing like with like.

That said: I paid about £75 for it, and I've seen how much they are today and wouldn't have bothered on a brand I wasn't familiar with. They're definitely pricier comparatively.

I have a parlux 385 light. It's fab. So fast. It's lasted a few years so far.

I also love my Powerlight 385, used everyday day for 15 years and still going strong.

Thanks so much, going to try the Parlux 385.
