I recently bought a pleated midaxi skirt from the White Company via Vinted. I absolutely love it, having previously thought pleats weren't for my large hips. I think this works so well because the top is made of fine pleated and they get wider from just under the hips.
Anyway, the last week I've been so so busy decorating and the like and amidst the chaos I threw a load of laundry in the washer and dryer without thinking. Sorting it last night the wider pleats have all gone 😢. I'm prepared for the agony of pinning and pressing to restore them, but will I have to do this every wash? Is there a magic solution my googling hasn't found yet?
