Long warm waterproof coat

Does such a thing exist!? I have a great waterproof but it’s not long, my long winter coat isn’t waterproof.

Ideally it would be calf length, totally waterproof, lightweight, warm, detachable hood, thumb cutouts and not black!

Any ideas?

Looks good but water resistant not proof unfortunately!

I like it but not as long as I’m looking for.

I think I can’t tick all my boxes, I’m going to order the Seasalt Janelle one and see if it’s long enough and have to foresake the thumb loops! I like the Didriksons Laya one but not the colours! Be nice if I could design my own! Thanks for all the suggestions.

I have the Alta puffer short version (in a gorgeous silvery grey that they don’t do anymore). They have a long version of this. They are pricey but it’s the best coat I’ve ever owned. Very warm and completely waterproof.

Yes — there are jackets that hit calf length, are waterproof, warm/lightweight, with detachable hood and thumb holes.
Check out outdoor brands like RAB, Patagonia or Arc’teryx — many colour-options beyond black too.

M&S do a long waterproof one with a hood.
It comes in ivory, black and wine.
It is long and is very oversized so go down a couple of sizes.
The hood is not detachable.
It is not a warm one but you could wear a gilet underneath it.
It ticked all my boxes:
Waterproof

Hood
Not too expensive
So I bought one.
I got 20% off with my Sparks card.
Many sizes are sold out online but I went into an M&S store and there were quite a few available.
