To cut a long story short I have neuropathic pain in one of my feet after an injury followed by multiple operations and I need really soft socks or it's almost intolerable to wear anything on my feet. I also have really small feet so need kids size.
I've bought loads of bamboo socks in recent times, just unbranded ones off Ebay mainly, and they are fine initially but they wear out ridiculously quickly. Sewing the holes up or darning them isn't an option because my bad foot is so sensitive that the repairs are really uncomfortable.
Is this just an inevitable feature of bamboo as a material or can anyone recommend a brand that actually lasts more than a month or two? I don't mind spending a fair bit on them if they don't wear out quickly as it would probably still be better value than replacing every few weeks, and of course better for the environment. Any recommendations would be much appreciated, and if there's no seam in the toes even better! Thanks in advance for any ideas.
