Best British skincare brands

Looking for your favourite British skincare brands, made in the UK and with good ethics, employing local people especially. Can anyone recommend anything? Bonus points if it's budget friendly! Thank you 😊

Neals Yard and Faith in Nature are both nice for bath/shower products (although Neals Yard products are very strongly scented.)

But I think for skincare, you can't beat the French pharmacy brands. Caudalie is my favourite. It is French and made in France, and uses natural formulations- so no dodgy ingredients or poor workers rights. You can buy the range in John Lewis or Boots online, or at the lovely French Pharmacy in Marylebone. Of course, the best place to get it is on holiday in France.
