What do you prefer for cosy lounge wear in the winter?

I am torn between oodie style hoodies and fleece pyjamas.

Fleece Pj’s all the way, just bought two new pairs with an offer code at M&S :) They are good quality, my previous ones from there lasted a good few years.

Thanks, this is interesting. I've bought some fleece pyjamas from M&S but am wondering whether to change them for the Oodie type tops they have in there.

With the pyjamas I bought the 12-14 size, I am usually a 10 or 12 so I thought these would be OK. They looked too big when I tried them on at home so I returned them and got the 8-10 size, tried them on at home and they fit OK but the waistband on the bottoms aren't elasticated and really hard to pull up and pull on my hips but a fit nice once they are on. They don't do a size 10-12 size which I would normally buy.,

The question is, am I better off getting the 12-14 size again, does it matter just for lounge wear at home if they are a bit big. Or should I keep the 8-10 size or go for the Oodie which is just one size?

The pyjamas are so snug and warm when they are on though.

I have both and my fleece pj's get way more wear. The oodie is a faff to pull over my head plus the one i have is so heavy!

Oodie!
But.. they are heavy and have big wizard sleeves. I can't eat in mine but love it for lounging!

I definitely go for fleece in the winter up at my sisters as it’s freezing otherwise I can’t wear them home, to hot for my small cosy flat! . Primark ones are surprisingly nice with a lovejy choice of pattern. They are lovely and soft. I’m usually in primark short sleeve top and long bottoms at home I think they’re fantastic value and was very well. U can get all manner of puns and nighties there whatever takes ur fancy. I’ve just read an article in the Metro where this woman was testing £18 £30 and & £75 pyjamas-She plummed for the £30 ones which she said were ‘a steal’. OMG I would never think of spending that much on a pair of pyjamas, shes obviously targeting a well of client base. I love M&S clothes but they used to be so much more affordable so available to a customer who can’t spend £30 on a single pair of pjs no matter go how nice they feel. I need that money for a cost!!! She was also saying everyone should have a drawer full of pyjamas. I have 3 winter and 3 summer, as my mum told me one to wear one in the drawer and one to wash anymore is superfluous!!! I must say I do like supermarket pjs u always get an offer. I think MATALAN are good but getting expensive now. It definitely comes down to what u like wearing in bed summer shortie pjs and spaghetti strap nighties and do on! Will the rise in costs of living were all looking for the best bargain. Having said that even if I won the lottery I’d still probably shop in primark and places like shein. Oh don’t get pjs on Shein 100% polyester and cheap quality shiny material 😱 Then again it depends what item ur buying . These shops have a lot of tat but hidden gems as well. As regards loungewear, waste of money!! Very expensive too. If I’m relaxing at home it’s a sweatshirt and leggings that I already have in my wardrobe. I did buy my mum some loungewear from marks in the sale and I must say they gorgeous, something to snuggle up to read a book or watch a film. Agsin it seems to be superfluous to spend money on a specific item of clothing for relaxing when uve already got something in ur wardrobe u could wear for that purpose. However lounging around with the kids on Sunday in our puns definitely feels more relaxing and suit the pace of a sunday. That’s my run down on pyjamas. Hopefully some of the places might appeal to you to try.
