Rise & Fall quality

So I have purchased from this company and things seem fine. Nothing spectacular but fine for the price.
My question is their comparison model. Their premise is that they produce high quality items using the same factories as top known brands but sell cheaper. But how do we know if the quality is actually like for like?
Saying 'a similar cashmere jumper costs £495 from XXX and £750 from XXX but only £290 from us is not something that can be measured. I dint know if it's exactly the same quality cashmere

Is it just all marketing over reality ?

I suspect it's just marketing. I've seen a few nice bits from them but the comparison aspect puts me off so I've never bought anything.

I'm always put off websites where every single item has a "sale" price.
