Warm, reasonably waterproof winter coat

I need a coat for this winter and struggling to find anything that isn't over £150. Really I don't want to spend more than £100 absolute tops.

I want:

  • Dark or bright colour
  • Long enough to cover my bum (longer is fine)
  • Functional pockets
  • Reasonably waterproof - this seems to be the main sticking point as most places just have 'shower resistant' which I'm not convinced by. I'm going to be doing school runs all winter with a baby in a pram (so no umbrella) and a very slow walking 3yo, and I live in a rainy place and hate the rain! I want to stay as dry as possible Sad
  • Warm

Any suggestions?

Sorry that's over £100, but there will be cheaper brands and look for the sale prices

North Ridge do a coat that might fit your needs. Was at Go Outdoors for £100.

Also check out Craghoppers. Usually a reasonable price.

I've got an awesome coat from La Redoute, an oversized parka, waterproof, and soft inner, they had several and delivery was within a week

I'd get a north face arctic parka on vinted. They sell for under £150 in vgc.
