Are all SPFs created equal? I've just started using tretinoin and they recommend using suncream every day. I'm currently sitting in my office in grey drizzly London with a face that smells like a Mediterranean holiday and it's a bit weird. I have never looked further than 3 for 2 stuff in Boots each summer so no idea if there's better/different/daily etc creams. Does anyone know much about this?

I use ultrasun spf50. It goes on clean skin and lasts all day. Any serums or makeup go on top.

Have a look at the Oz brand ultra-Violette. A range of different spfs.

That's great, thanks both.

I use E45 facial sunscreen. Even though it's a sunscreen it feels like a moisturiser and to top it all it's not expensive.

I’ve tried a lot of spf this year, I hate the altruist one, very lumpy, I love the Cetaphil one, smooth to put on, didn’t cause me breakouts, I liked la Roche posay but the price was too high for me.

I love the summery smell!

My skin really agrees with the Garnier ones, even though I’ve tried much ‘better’/more expensive ones. The one with niacinamide makes me really glowy, and I also like the ‘over makeup’ mist.

Personally I love L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Clinical SPF 50+ - cheapest on Amazon - which is completely undetectable once on (no grease, no whiteness, no smell) and wears very well under make up.
