Help!
I'm going to see Mud (your tiger feet, alright now!!) at the end of next week and OBVIOUSLY I need to party like it's 1975, right?
I've got a pair of bell bottom trousers in a toothache-inducing pink/orange design via Vinted. I've got some platform sandals. I've got a 1980 Lurex blazer that will do. But I need a top to go under said blazer!
I was a teenager in 1975 but had no money for fashion and I don't clearly remember what the trendy girls were wearing (Bay City Rollers and all things tartan were def NOT trendy in my friendship group). I have an idea that something shortish on the body with flared sleeves might work, or maybe a shirt with enormous collar points.
But I don't have a teenager's figure any more. I'm quite well endowed in the boob department and I would prefer not to have my midriff on show (the rest of the world might agree). And I want to pay as little as possible because I doubt I'll wear this outfit again! To top it all it needs to arrive by next Thurs at the latest -
Can any of you shopping wizards find me something suitable? Size 12+ in current money, prob a 16 in 1970s sizing. Don't really care how daft it looks!
