Date afternoon outfit!

I’m wondering if any of you can give me outfit advice. I’ve been single now for 7years. Been on a few dates but always said I’ve been put off for life. Anyway, I’ve been asked to go out for a drink at the weekend and I’ve surprised myself as I’ve said yes. I’ve blocked it out until today but I’m now worrying about my outfit. I haven’t been out for a long time, I want to feel nice for me. I’m a size 8/10 and wondered what you lot thought?
I’ve looked at skinny jeans, top and a blazer look, ordered a few but I’m not sure. Any ideas? We’ve not decided where but it’s a drink out, 5ish somewhere 😬 Thank you.

Your question is a bit "how long is a piece of string"?

I take it you're looking to buy something rather than wear something you already have? Although you haven't given yourself much time.

I haven't been on a date for decades but if I were going somewhere I wanted to impress I would probably wear a recent purchase or something that makes me feel good or something dramatic. Skinny jeans, a top and a blazer wouldn't be my choice although I'm sure it would be for many.

You haven't given a budget, but this is very cheap from another thread. Whether the whole suit or just the jacket or trousers, it's got a bit more pizzaz than skinny jeans. M & S (and no doubt others) do slightly more expensive versions. NRBY does beautiful but far more expensive versions.
