Flannels interview DS help

DS has an interview there later. I've never been in. Not my kind of place at all. What should he wear? What kind of place is it? Does anyone work there/ know people there and can advise the vibe? He's got a smart fitted shirt and trousers he was going to wear with shoes but is that a bit waiter? Have they anything they do or don't do by way of customer service ? Are they snooty like selfridges ?! He needs a job as his old job has been replaced. Part time Christmas hours is what he's applied for ...
Thanks!!!

@Isthisonme I can only talk about the one near me but it's certainly not snooty. More "fashion" I would say so assuming he is late teens I'd probably suggest a smart casual look. Probably worth popping in to see what the current staff wear e.g. jeans / trainers and then going slightly smarter for interview.

Presume if he is applying there he has an interest in fashion / clothes?

He has aspirational tastes yes 🤣. Loves his clothes. I wondered if a smart polo and half zip is better than a shirt
He has been given 24 hours notice and can't get there before the interview to check how they dress sadly. We plan to arrive early to wander round the shop tonight but it's all a bit last minute

Should we go polo shirt or traditional formal shirt ?
