Laura Geller Baked Foundation

I'm in my early 60s and earlier this year decided to try baked foundation after years of liquid. Bought some Laura Geller which I love and feel freshened my whole look. When I ordered the second one I got a Kabuki brush too. Something isn't working and I can't work out what to do. I get hardly any coverage. The powder is kind of set and shiny. Where am I going wrong?

I’m not going to be much help as I seem to be on the same page as you.
I’m 61. Just bought it too (in fair) plus the brush. I feel pretty much ‘underwhelmed’ by the product so very disappointed. I don’t often buy make up so had high hopes for it.
I didn’t want anything heavy but this really doesn’t do anything at all.
I’m assuming it’s me that’s doing something wrong so look forward to the experts arriving on this thread.

I've just turned 50 and I've been using the 'fair' I don't rate it at all! The coverage is poor and it oxidises to orange which looks awful!! Trying to find an alternative as I don't really want to use liquid foundation anymore.

I've been using it for years, although not all over the face, just where I've got redness. Less is more with it.

OP you do know there are two types - Balance and Brighten and Balance and Glow with different formulations? If that's not it, maybe they have changed the formula- which is disappoint as I'm due to buy another.

Maybe that's it. I'll check it out. Thank you.

I use two colours together but with a less dense brush (like a fluffy stipple one) for a less heavy coverage

I use it over a tinted moisturiser or bb cc cream for a little more coverage, I use the balance and glow I do have the balance and brighten too, but prefer the b& g over a cc or bb cream.
