Foundation

Not a massive make up wearer. But I think I could really do with some foundation for everyday use. For wearing to work. I feel like my skin is so uneven and it's aging me.
Any ideas?? No idea where to start.

This is what I use. It's light-medium coverage but is buildable for more coverage, can't feel it on the skin, gives a lovely radiant glow. No fragrance to it, doesn't settle in fine lines thankfully and in my experience it lasts all day without having to use a primer or setting spray.
I'm extremely pale and use shade F2, I'd highly recommend going into Boots and testing their shade range if you are interested in this one

I love the Laura Geller Balance and Brighten powder foundation. I apply with a fluffy brush and swirl extra over my cheeks where I have darker pigmentation. For a powder it gives a beautifully natural yet luminous finish and not too matte.
I use the blusher too, and find it good value to buy sets from QVC but if it's just the foundation it's on offer bought direct from Laura Geller at the moment.

I just bought Elf halo Glow

Lisa Eldridge skin tint is really nice. I’m not hugely into foundation every day so this is nice as it’s quite light but evens things out just enough. Feels like nothing on the skin.

Completelyjo · 09/11/2024 20:28

I’ve used mac face and body for easily 15+ years now and it’s the freshest looking foundation I’ve ever used. I put my 70 year old mum onto it and it looks great on her too.
Every so often i switch it up but i always go back.

Have a look at True Match Nude Tinted Plumping Serum

Loads of shades and undertones (cool, warm, neutral) and I think great for a light foundation option.

curlycurlymoo · 09/11/2024 20:34

Thank you all. I've added them all to my list to have a look at.

Not foundation as such nor tinted moisturiser but Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint is worth a look. It doesn’t feel like you are wearing makeup.

stayathomer · 10/11/2024 16:59

rimmel perfect match is quite good or I use clarins bb cream but I have to wear a primer (Aimee Connelly or glossier)

ApolloandDaphne · 10/11/2024 17:29

I swear by Clarins BB cream. It looks light and natural but covers my slight redness.
