Off in a couple of weeks and happy to go all out!
Thinking maybe a gold sequin jumpsuit or gold dress with 70s flared sleeves.
Honestly happy to explore any suggestions.
My only caveats are we are on the dance floor and need comfortable shoes and would rather keep my arms covered. Budget healthy but if going expensive would rather have something I can wear more than once
I am 5ft 9 and size 14.
Thanks

So I’ve been and had costumes but didn’t wear them as no one else in my group planned to dress in 70s clothes.

In the event the percentage of those who did was about 5% - often older hen or stag parties. I wouldn’t dress up personally

Going as a group of 20 (10 couples) and we are all dressing up

You don’t – I went and most people weren’t dressed up, other than, as a PP said, hen parties. It was really fun though, you’ll both have a great time.

Yes, I was surprised how few were dressed up when we went but still no reason not to IMO.
