I’m going through a nightmarish process of getting my money back for an order I returned over a month ago. I’ve been in contact with their customer service and received an apology email saying that my refund was processed manually and I could expect it within 5 days. Today is day 4 and I have just received, out of the blue, an identically worded email, asking me to wait for 5 more days!
Of course I am not waiting, I’m going straight to PayPal. But I have also checked Uniqlo’s reviews and there are lots of very recent 1-star reviews on Trustpilot reporting exactly the same issue.
Do you know if they are struggling with financial flows or is it just the crappy customer service in their German processing centre?
