I keep ordering ankle boots for work and they literally make my ankles bulge over the top and my legs look stumpy? I’m not overweight but they always seem to do this! Please help what styles should I be look for?

Well, mid-calf or knee high are more fashionable this year so you could ignore ankle boots altogether - unless you need a specific type of boot for your job? Or do you just want boots for general wear?

What are your clothing and shoe sizes, and how much do you want to spend?

thankyoi for your reply I’m shoe size 6, size 10-12 but have short legs so maybe that’s the problem, i can go mid calf of knee high but im worried that would be worse!

They are lovely thankyou but unfortunately my budget wouldn’t stretch! I was looking around 50 pounds

Ok - you may well struggle to find good quality leather boots new at that price.

These are vegan leather and as they’re lace ups they may accommodate the issue with your ankles. Quite good looking too:

I currently have 15% on y Sparks for footwear so pair above comes to £43

I am short of leg and have the same problem.
I wear chunky brogues with thick tights

Galaxywhirl · 09/11/2024 17:10

Yes I think I may have to do the same @KnickerlessParsons!

Try Pavers. Most of their extensive boot collection are about £45-50.
