Festive knitwear sos

I am after the kind of lightly festive knitwear I can wear to a couple of daytime work things, Christmas drink in the pub, Christmas Day. With jeans or wide legged trousers. And that I can trot out each December for the next few years. Maybe a bit of sparkle or some light embellishment rather than a light up Santa. But I also can do whimsical if the occasion calls for it. Just something a bit more out there than my usual plain or striped.

Whilst this sounds fairly easy, it is not.

I cannot wear crew necks AT ALL. I am short, booby and wide (size 18). What height I have is in my legs so my body is very short. I like fairisle jumpers but they genuinely look dreadful on me as the pattern squashes me up.

I have light colouring (I am a 'spring' if you follow that kind of thing). Whilst I do wear black, it's a compromise colour and I want this to be something I feel jolly in. I am best in turquoise/pink/bright green but also the cream/gold/caramel tones and bright red.

I am allergic to most wool. I can tolerate a blend and a bit of cashmere but that's it. But I don't want acrylic/polyester if I can help it. I wear a lot of cotton knitwear day to day.

I have looked everywhere high street I can think of and I can get close (sosander and sugar hill Brighton have the shape and sparkle but not the colour, I can find a couple of cheap cream and gold efforts but the material is dreadful). The closest so far is this one which may be the wrong red.

Any ideas gratefully received. Budget probably not more than 150 and preferably under 100.

Oh that's quite nice and viscose. It's a good shape as well.

I am walking past a Roman shop in about an hour so I will look at colours, thank you.

That jumper you linked is so pretty OP! I'm surprised they're calling it pillar box red, it's more raspberry to me.

And yours too @GettingStuffed ! I'm going to have to delete this thread...

Quick update - the Roman jumper was awful!

The Vee was so deep my children suggested I wear it to their next parents evening as they could do with a boost to their chemistry marks. And the sleeves were oddly short.

I have gone for the red Celtic and co one to see if that works better.

Have a look at the Whistles Annie knits - I have a couple and they've lasted well. I know the description says crew neck - but try one on before making up your mind, they're a lovely shape and come in some beautiful colours.

Have you tried TU at Sainsburys? I was in there yesterday and saw a lovely gold/beige v-necked jumper but it was quite woolly looking so may not work for you. Amazon can be quite good for this kind of thing.
