Influencers I don't get

But 200k plus people follow them and they get 1k or so likes per post.
Am I missing something?

I just don't get influencers.

Why would you want to influence someone?
Why would you want to be influenced..?

@AnOldCynic I kind of understand their 'job', normal people wearing clothes to show what normal people would look like instead of seeing them being worn by models. But I don't understand how some of them have millions of followers!

the sad thing is wether it’s lip filler or Christmas Eve boxes it actually works, a lot of people genuinely feel pressured by influencers
