Hi everyone,

I currently work in a corporate role and spend my time in clients offices wearing suits, shirts ect, I'm very excited to be starting a new role within the office of a school.

I have been in for interview and the clothing worn was still very smart but very different style to the work clothes I currently have so I am looking for new work clothes but unsure of where to start. The school is a big independent school and everyone was very well dressed, any pointers as to where to shop / some items which can get me through my first few months.

Thanks in advance!!

Just wear the clothes you previously wore

won’t be that different

City or country?

And it’s not clear what sort of ‘level’ or budget you’re accustomed to?

IME a country boarding school would be more very nice knitwear - & Daughter / Margaret Howell type of thing - with tailored skirts or trousers, and good brogues or loafers, whereas a city day school might lean towards traditional office wear.
