Find me some trousers!

I had an abdominal hysterectomy a couple of years ago due to cancer, ever since then I have a real issue with anything being on my tummy trousers wise.

I am 5ft8 and 10st2, was a happy 10 pre-op but now a 12, and even then I can't cope with the size 12 jeans/jeggings as they are too much for my tummy. I'm definitely not a 14, but I need some size 12 jeans or jeggings that are very stretchy and loose but also flattering! Is that even a thing?! I have size 12 jeggings from New Look and they fit size wise but they feel unbearable to have on after an hour or 2.

I do have some joggers and wide leg trousers but feel like I'm constantly looking awful without my jeans.

This might be a totally impossible ask, I think the sensitivity to anything touching or pressing on my tummy is a hangover from the op and subsequent shape change etc.

Please forgive any insensitivity given that you’ve had a hysterectomy - but have you considered maternity jeans? They have the jersey area over the tummy that might solve your irritation.

Try Halara. Super stretchy and a great variety of styles and colours.

Maternity jeans might be a good shout actually if I can find some that aren't too roomy in the elastic bit.

I've also seen Halara but worried they would be poor quality, have you got some from there?

Thanks both!

Hi I have had the same operation

i always wear massive granny pants or m and a support knickers that go over my belly button, both in a couple of sizes larger than my own.

These feel really comfy on.

This might the wrong idea but I can’t stand tight jeans and trousers any more and jeggings and skinnies are totally awful for me for that reason. I find mom jeans (which are all the rage!) incredibly comfortable. They are not stretchy but they have plenty of room, a comfort fit and are high waisted - as that’s the style. They are in M&S in different lengths but most other shops have them too.

I really don't like feeling constricted in my clothes and recently discovered Uniqlo's denim pleated trousers which are roomy at the front. There's a few colours, but not blue.

I just wanted to say thank you for this, I ordered some maternity jeans from Vinted and they are perfect! I can wear normal style trousers without the pressure on my tummy!
