Perimenopause dry skin recommendations

I’m in the throes of perimenopause and my skin has become incredibly dry, flaky and itchy especially on my cheeks. I work in an air conditioned environment and my skin is so dry by the end of the day.

Are there any tried and tested skincare recommendations that could help? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the different lotions and potions out there!

I'm pretty sure I'm headed into perimenopause early as my skin was just so uncontrollably dry and hair was falling out more and more with each wash. I've read so much about what can help and collagen kept coming up over and over. I've given reverse life marine collagen a go for about 4-5 weeks so far and my face is definitely getting better... hair loss still to be proven lol. Apparently it takes around 8 weeks to see start seeing the full benefits

I was given an offer for my friends to get £10 off your first order over £29. I thought you might like it. I'll also get a reward, so it's a win-win! reverselife.mention-me.com/m/wa/yc9ql-anna-edwards

This is lovely for dry skin. I've started putting a small amount on in the morning, as well as a lot before bed.

If the link doesn't work, it's The Ordinary Rosehip oil. But I'm sure any Rosehip oil will do.

I also prefer the oily/buttery cleansers now. There's a medik8 one which is an oil cleanser. My favourite is beauty pie plantastic apricot butter cleanser, it leaves my skin really soft and it smells so good.

Weleda Skin food is also a very rich moisturiser. It's quite scented , but a thick nourishing moisturiser. There's a skin food light version if it's too heavy for the face.

Sorry, I linked to the ordinary argan oil. Not Rosehip oil, it's the Rosehip oil I use.

Pelegrims Facial Balm. It makes my skin look fantastic!

I use vit C serum and Cerave.

I have dry skin.

I use Inkey List HA Serum, followed by The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors with HA and Photoceramides, followed by Sukin Rosehip Oil. Keeps my skin moisturised all day long.

Weleda Skinfood is lovely, probably the Intensive one for dry skin, I only used the light one.

None of this are too expensive, you can also find them on offer / on Vinted various places.

Re body - I am addicted to Garnier Mango Body Butter and the Cocoa Butter one. I also have an Epsom salts bath and add oatmilk which is amazing for dry skin.

I also oil Cleanse 2-3 times a week, my current fave is a Bare Minerals Cleansing Oil.
