Not the most glamorous topic I know.
I usually buy black M&S socks and tbh they aren’t that great .

i would like some nice socks .

Not wool as my skin is sensitive to it .

Some soft thinner or medium weight ones . Plain or stripes.

And I’d like some like the Dr Martens double layer boot ones . Wondering where else does them.

I've googled socks but have no idea re the different online companies and what they are like .

any ideas to up my sock game ?

Surprisingly I find Sainsbury's socks excellent. And I am picky with socks.

Yep, TU.

Boys' socks are quite nice and tend to be slightly thicker and give you extra choice.

BTW, no idea why women's socks have to substandard, but they are. Same goes for knickers! Universally, not just TU.

I came to say Bam as well.

Another vote for Tu socks - also look in the men's if your feet at a 6 or bigger.

I find Bamboo socks too warm, and BAM socks wear out very quickly IME.

Thought make great socks though, plain and patterned.

Don't know about double-layer, but Community Clothing do chunky cotton boot socks, which I wear in my Solovair boots.

Got some from Muji this week that are lovely (as in feel lovely, looks-wise they're just plain). Bargain too
