Stylish comfortable trainers

I'm looking for new trainers for colder months. I currently wear Veja esplar, which I love, but they feel more suited to summer. I'm also wearing more baggy or bootcut jeans, and I don’t think the Vejas pair as well with them.

I've tried on Hoff trainers and found them very comfortable, but I’m unsure if the colors are too bold. I also tried Adidas platform trainers; they look great but aren’t as comfortable as the Hoffs.

Any other recommendations?

I've got a pair of Adidas platform gazelles which I love but I've noticed the soles do t have any grip so I think they'll be useless on icy days. If you like the style then puma/gola do similar retro looking ones.
I have a pair of Nike platform low blazers which I've worn loads. They're really comfortable and come in some great colours, ditto Air Force 1s.

I don't find trainers particularly stylish but they are fashionable. I'd wear boots.
