Help me dress myself!

Hi
From school uniforms to work scrubs, I have pretty much never had to think about what to wear and when off work kept to casual jeans and jumper/blouse/T-shirt- type clothes.

But with retirement to the warmth of Italy approaching I am desperate to reinvent myself and totally overhaul my wardrobe to become effortlessly chic in my new life.

I am 164, size 10/12 busty - so definitely not willowy or floaty but would love to exude that European vibe of trying not trying. Thinking monochrome separates and minimalist chic but where to begin? Budget is modest but prepared to spend good money on quality. Any inst accounts out with inspiration?

Any advice gratefullyreceived Blush

Do you actually want to wear monochrome separates and minimalist chic , or do you think you should wear that?

I don't look at instagram but the obvious brands I know of in that ballpark are Studio Nicholson, Margaret Howell and Cos and maybe Oska Ischiko , Community Clothing and Plumo. None of these are cheap and at the moment (with the exception of CC, which doesn't really do seasons) are in their autumn and winter ranges.

I'm not sure if any of them will meet your European vibe of trying/ not trying as I'm not sure what that is and I think it's an MN myth that all French/ Italian/Spanish/ whatever women are so much better dressed than British women.
