What trousers with platform ankle boots?

Ive just bought these boots and love them! Just wondering what trousers would look best with them, for 'smart/casual' wear? Do I go cropped stopping at top of boot or is that really dated now? Or do I go flared but I'm afraid it might smamp me? I'm 5'4 and size 14 . Generally strsight leg suits me best but wonder if that would suit the look of the boots? Any ideas please?

Not the same but yesterday wore platform trainers and wide leg trousers. But the opposite reason; my trousers were a little bit long with flat shoes/trainers so put the platform trainers on.

Otherwise I'd probably wear drainpipe trousers or old style skinny jeans.

Maybe google trousers with platform boots and they'll be suggestions on Pinterest or someone's instagram or Red/Vogue/who what wear etc.
