Jumper - £60, wool shop in Copenhagen
Jeans - £10, M&S Carrie from Vinted
Shoes - DM Serenas, approx £120
Coat - £550, Burberry
Bag - £40, Roka sling rucksack

So not including my underwear, £770. But the coat is 10 years old so cost per wear at this point is minimal.

Georgelassosthemoon · 03/12/2024 16:05

Vest - £9 Yours
Jumper - ancient one from Woolovers

Loving the pictures! Thank you! I spend an embarrassing amount of time Googling from PPs' posts - trying to cut that out but, today, I had to see what a Shrimp pearl bag looks like 😂

weareallcats · 03/12/2024 18:47

I’ve missed a few days - will just do today! Although honourable mention to the silk Anthropologie dress I wore on Saturday night - £28 from Vinted!

Alex Monroe necklace - £40 (Vinted - wear almost every day)

Astrid and Miyu earrings - £40

No coat as it’s weirdly warm today!

Isitfridayyetsophie · 03/12/2024 18:48

Well Frameless was great, would recommend. My little dude is asleep already! Worn out!

ha @Garlicpest I google too! It’s part of the fun! https://shrimps.com/products/antonia-bag-cream I think it’s this one, not really my style but I was a bridesmaid and this was part of my outfit. It’s quite tactile, I can see why a child would be drawn to it.

@Cantonet ohh love the look of the outfit and the app! I’ll need to check it out. I ummed and aahed about that Teddy coat, wish I’d have got it now!

Antonia bag - Cream

Unfortunately I’ve had plenty of Vinted disasters too 😂.

Ah! That’s a shame, assume the good experiences outweigh the bad? It’s my New Year’s resolution to first look at vinted and charity shops before I buy something. Still on the hunt for a Barbour that costs less than £100!

Yes, I think good outweighs the bad. I’ve got better at knowing what to buy, what’s worth spending a bit more on and what definitely isn’t (people often want a surprising amount for shoes/boots they’ve worn, for example!). I’ve bought a few things too big and had them altered as well, which can still be worth it if something is priced well and is in a good state!

weareallcats · 03/12/2024 19:42

Also, trying desperately to de-mustify a couple of older toast jackets I got on there - they are lovely, but have that vintage shop smell!

Katesboots · 03/12/2024 23:08

Hush red and black skirt - £50
Wyse black scallop edge jumper - £90
R&B boots - £375
Falke tights black - £25

weareallcats · 04/12/2024 10:00

Morning! A fairly splurgey day for me, given I’m just pottering around doing errands, but as I was getting dressed I remembered a gorgeous post on another thread (can’t link as it’s since been deleted) that said that wearing the clothes you enjoy is treating every day as special and is a celebration of your amazing life (worded far more nicely by the original poster).

Brora skirt - £349

Boden top - £32

Toast jumper - £195

JL tights - £10

Nordic socks - £8ish (part of multi pack)

Penelope Chilvers boots - £475

Bleu de Chauffe bag - £340 (plus £116 in customs charges - whoops)

Thats actually not as bad as I though in terms of ££ - no coat, scarf or jewellery (other than my every day rings and watch that I don’t list) helping me out!

Isitfridayyetsophie · 04/12/2024 10:58

@weareallcats you sound cosy! Also not surprised what you say about people wanting a lot for their shoes judging by some of the charity shop prices I see!

Have done the nursery run, am just off to Westfield to do some Christmas shopping. Hope it’s not too hectic!

Lulu lemon flared align leggings- £90ish?
h&m strap top- £5
old Saint Laurent sweatshirt- £500 at the time I think, but it’s 10 years old
Ugg tasmans- £120
Goyard Anjou tote- £1600? I’ve blanked it from my memory and it’s several years old (possibly 10?)

No coat as I’m driving and will no doubt boil in the shopping centre. Looking forward to treating myself to a cake and coffee and EL&N!

LittleRedRidingHoody · 04/12/2024 11:14

Morning all,

@weareallcats that sounds amazing (and looks amazing in my head!)

@Isitfridayyetsophie noooo way! I booked annual leave for today with the intention of a solo Christmassy Westfield trip, but ultimately came home from the school run, shoved on some Christmas PJs and music, am making gingerbread/wrapping presents/scrolling MN lazily instead 😂 Enjoy El&N 😍

Chelsea Peers Christmas PJs £32
Fluffy Birkenstock dupes, Primark £11
Underwear set from Next, £38 I think

weareallcats · 04/12/2024 11:32

I totally have my fingers in my ears re Christmas shopping, although I do have an hour in town later today while I wait for dd to have her piano lesson - could make a start, I guess. Any YES to boiling in the shops in winter - it’s a feeling I very much associate with Christmas shopping (at least Westfield is all indoors - I have a high street set up so have to make a sartorial choice between being too hot or a bit cold some of the time).

weareallcats · 04/12/2024 11:34

@Isitfridayyetsophie had to google Ugg Tasmans and yes please, I would like some of those!

Edited to add that I have indeed just ordered some - in the reddish terracotta colour. Have a very cold, tiled floor downstairs in my house and have been looking for something like this.

happytobemrsg · 04/12/2024 11:54

@Isitfridayyetsophie @weareallcats I love the look of them too. I follow someone on instagram who wore them with leggings & hoodie & bring on mat leave right now, this is exactly my vibe! But I’ve never had Uggs before so I worried they would look chunky on my or silly. I also never wear tan so I don’t know if that matters 🤷🏻‍♀️

Radyward · 04/12/2024 15:35
