Louis Vuitton yay or nay

Does anyone like the Louis Vuitton monogram print or prefer damier ebene? I just can’t make my mind up if I like it or not . So just wondering everyone else’s opinions. I think I prefer Gucci prints but if I had to choose from Lv probably the DE. What’s everyone’s thoughts

I have the damier neverfull and much prefer it. It has the red inner which is a nice contrast. On the monogram the handles are the light leather which develop a patina over time which I think can make it look dirty but some people like that.

I think it depends which style bag you are going for to decide on pattern.

I have a damier neverfull with red inside that I use all the time as a day to day bag. As the pp says, the darker handles don’t show a patina. I also own a couple of black monogram empreinte handbags which I really love and use a great deal.

Thanks I’m considering buying a small purse but unsure on which print i prefer

I have a small purse in the monogram as well which I think for the size is better in Monogram than Damier.

I have a small purse in monogram empreinte - it’s lovely. (For coins/cards/notes rather than the American meaning of purse).

Yes the small purse I’m looking at is the Rosalie with gold button. Light pink interior, I am thinking the monogram looks a little nicer

I have bags in both. I like the Mono better as more classier.

I have a mono zippy purse and mono multi pochette. Ebene in a speedy and azur in a nf and another speedy. I think i prefer bags in non mono personally. Purse is nice though.
Also have the emperinte black in a nf which is nice and understated

I have a damier in brown and a damier in white so i prefer these over the monogram. I LOVE the white one, had it 10 years so it does have a bit of wear now
