I sometimes need to wear a very smart and fairly conservative suit to a meeting - skirt, black jacket, silk blouse.
Back in the day I would be in a traditional heeled court shoe - something quite plain with a stiletto style heel. I'm still wearing these heels when I wear a suit (much less often than pre covid) but I think they look dated now. However, I can't find flat shoes or block heels that look right either, they don't feel quite formal enough.
