I love lancome's la vie et belle perfume but either use too much or can't afford to replace it every month.
Need to find something i can wear daily around £30-40. I'd like it to smell expensive. Floral ideally
Any suggestions welcome

I wear l'eau d'issey by Issey Miyake and always get compliments. I think it's about £45.

Stressedgiraffe · 29/10/2024 20:27

I used to wear that in my 20s. Ideally I need to sniff . Where can you go to sniff nowadays? Unfortunately I only have boots and superdrug locally

You should be able to sniff at Boots

Have a look at the M&D Discover fragrances. They're only about £10 for 100ml bottle. I use them for work and save my more expensive ones for weekends/special occasions. I've got a few, and I've had compliments on them.

gano · 29/10/2024 20:33

That's meant to say M&S!

Stressedgiraffe · 29/10/2024 20:33

That's good to know. I'm in town on Saturday so will have a sniff.

Which m&s ones? I had red berries before but it didn't have that expensive smell if you know what i mean

M&S pink pepper is lovely, unfortunately mines packed in a box somewhere.

Zara perfumes are gorgeous.

Vera wang princess is lovely and very inexpensive- BnM sell for around £20

Allbeauty.com are good for low cost.

Next perfumes are lovely, I personally like the paradise one and the gold.

Avon, always quite long wearing, always get compliments wearing far and away (especially the brown one and the one with the turquoise lid).

Ted Baker, boots, not sure which one it was but a lady from work was wearing it and it was lovely. I think she said it was about £25

I like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and Zara’s Fashionably London.

Have you looked at The Essence Vault online?

SavoySteam · 29/10/2024 21:20

Best option is to have a sniff in the shops especially the ones with free access - Fenwick, John Lewis etc and then look online. I second Allbeauty for great deals, Notino is also my go to.

jollyfedup · 29/10/2024 21:25

I second Zara perfumes! They do really good dupes of more expensive ones- I'm pretty sure somewhere online there is a list of all of them. Golden decade smells like ysl libre which is my favourite. M&S ones are good but I find the Zara ones last longer.

The perfumer parlour dupe of the Vie est belle is good!
